Originally
called Pontal Beach, Daniela's Beach presents very
calm lukewarm sea water bathed by the North Bay, in
demand by families. This pleasant beach is located to
the north of the Santa Catarina Island; its sand is
white and soft where it is possible to walk or jogging
for 03 Km, besides offering a great place to the
children's amusement. |

Daniela’s Beach offers peace and a
lovely sea trip. Walking to the left side you find
swamp fishing: shrimp, crabs, a place where you can
watch the crab fishing, and shrimp. Walking 20 minutes
to the right side you find the Forte’s Beach, where
you can visit Sao José da Ponta Grossa Fortress.

The neighborhood has good options of
rustic restaurants; there is an oyster’s creation on
the right side of the beach where you can taste
delicious grilled oysters and typical seafood. The
neighborhood has a small Market and bakery.

In Daniela’s
Quarter there are very pretty summerhouses. High
buildings do not exist. You can hear the sea and
birds, the only noise in the neighborhood. The region
is ideal if you are looking for a safe, relaxing and
peaceful vacation. |

Respect and

by the efforts from the community and government
support keeping Daniela Beach a pleasant, preserved

Daniela is
one of the most beautiful of all the 42 beaches on the
island and is only 23 km from the center. Blessed by
the beautiful natural surroundings, Florianópolis

The official
name is Pontal Beach, however Daniela was
granddaughter from Mr. João Prudêncio de Amorim owned
many grounds here in 1970. He and his granddaughter
don't live here anymore, but the name remained. |
